Located in Bloomington, Minnesota the Mall of America attracts more than 40 million visitors annually and offers visitors the chance to shop designer brands at 520 stores with no sales tax on clothing or shoes.
The Mall has opened more than 20 new stores each year building on its new fashions and gift selection with shops joining existing retailers such as Burberry, Michael Kors, Apple, Coach, AIX Armani Exchange, Victoria’s Secret, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Microsoft and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Zara is set to open this season as part of the mall's recent expansion. The two-storey store will be approximately 30,000sq.ft and will be located on the north side of the mall. Liz McLay, senior vice president of leasing for the company, said: “Zara is a global retail leader and we are very excited to have them as a partner at Mall of America. As another first-to-market concept at MOA, this worldwide brand is a testament to the continued demand for flagship concepts in the twin cities.”
Anthropologie, a lifestyle retailer that offers clothing, accessories, home décor and beauty, is also set to open a 10,000sq.ft flagship store near the new north entrance later this year.
Offering more ways to save money with a coupon book with over 250 discounts at stores, restaurants and attractions, this is sold for $9.95 at Mall guest service desks. However, it is complimentary for the UK travel trade via a voucher on which tour operators and travel agents can place their logo. Guests who receive the value-add on product can redeem the voucher at the Mall.
