VIKING OCEAN Cruises has unveiled four new itineraries for 2016 and 2017.

New for 2016 is a 15-day 'Ancient Empires & Holy Lands' itinerary, where guests will have the opportunity to explore historic destinations in the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East and the Holy Land. Visits to destinations including Israel, Jerusalem, Haifa, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Rome, Athens and Istanbul are included, with prices leading in at £3,990 per person.

Alternatively, a 15-day 'Bergen to the Bosphorus' itinerary gives guests the chance to explore Bergen, the Mediterranean, Paris and Lisbon, as well as visiting Tunis, Valletta, Athens and Istanbul, with prices from £2,990.

In addition, there are two new itineraries for 2017; 'Secrets of the Southern Mediterranean' which offers an eight-day tour through the southern Mediterranean. Guests have the chance to explore Rome, Tunis, Algiers, Valletta, Sardinia, Valencia and Barcelona, with prices starting from £1,490. All bookings made before August 31 receive a £500 per person discount and gratuities.

All cruises will be on either the Viking Star, Viking Sea or Viking Sky, all of which have Veranda Staterooms, Explorer Suites, two pool choices, a spa and sustainable features, such as energy-efficient hybrid engines and onboard solar panels.
