A new family short break has been launched to celebrate the range of visitor attractions and experiences in the home of William Shakespeare.

Stay Play Explore Warwickshire offers a choice of three from 11 top-class visitor attractions in Stratford and Warwick, plus one night's accommodation with breakfast in a local four-star hotel for £185 for a family of four.

Attractions and experiences include Warwick Castle, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Stratford Butterfly Farm, Royal Shakespeare Company, Museum of Architecture and Design, British Motor Museum, Hall’s Croft, Shakespeare’s New Place, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Mary Arden’s Farm and Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall.

Helen Peters, chief executive of Shakepeare’s England said: “Shakespeare’s England is delighted to have the opportunity to work with Leicestershire Promotions to extend the successful Stay Play Explore programme to Warwickshire. Stay Play Explore Warwickshire really highlights how family friendly we are. What children would not enjoy a visit to the MAD Museum, Butterfly Farm and Mary’ Arden’s Farm, let alone Warwick Castle and the British Motor Museum. "We know this will be a fantastic success and we look forward to extending the offer to incorporate attractions in Coventry and other parts of our region.”

Visitors can book accommodation online at either Wroxall Abbey Hotel, Double Tree by Hilton at the Ricoh Arena or Jurys Inn Hinckley Island.
