Discover Egypt and sister company Discover Jordan have announced new flights from Gatwick to Amman with easyJet.The three times weekly service commences on March 27 and has enabled the operators to launch new packages this year. Discover Egypt already incorporates the carrier's flights on its programmes to Luxor, Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh, and the new flights will allow for more flexible itineraries combining the cultural and sun appeal of both countries.
As an example of prices, a four-night stay in Sharm followed by two nights in Petra and an additional night at the Dead Sea leads in at £994 per person for travel on April 24. The price includes flights, transfers and breakfast accommodation in four-star hotels and is based on two adults sharing a room. Discover Egypt’s 'Spectacular Egypt and Jordan' 15-night tour includes a seven-night Nile cruise, two nights in Cairo, then on to Jordan with two nights in Petra and three nights in Aqaba.
Using easyJet flights the package has been reduced on selected dates by up to £500 for travel after May 1.
