TAP has announced the launch of a new dedicated portal for UK travel agents at www.tapagents.com

With no log-in required, the website means more information is available at agents’ fingertips, enabling a better service for their clients and an easier booking experience with the airline.

The 'TAP Agents' site is designed to assist agents and travel organisers with extensive information about the carrier and its services, along with technical information regarding booking and ticketing procedures.

There are four main areas to the site: All About TAP, Services and Information, Procedures & Special Assistance and Book your Group.

Agents are asked to pay special attention to the Procedures & Special Assistance section where updated information regarding chargeable SSR`s (e.g. Excess baggage, musical instruments, etc) are available, as well as new policies regarding chargeable special meals.

Agents also have the option to subscribe to receive the newsletter that offers technical information, updates on new services and destinations the airline operates to.
