Totally India, a new operator featuring adventure and cultural holidays, both small group tours and independent travel, has launched.

The company is the brainchild of Derek Moore – a founding director of Explore – and Bashir Sheikh, the owner of India’s tour operating company, Delhi-based Sea and Sky.

The operator has initially been launched online, but it is intended that the programme will be sold through the trade and, to that end a 48-page brochure is currently in production, due to be published in July.

The programme includes private tours by motor car, festivals, rail journeys, trekking tours, family adventures, wildlife tours and cycling tours .

Most itineraries are between seven and nine days in duration, with the option of tailor-made extensions, and will be led by Indian tour guides.

Prices lead in at £495 for a nine-day tour of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra through to £2,135 for a two-week festival tour to Bhutan (excluding flights).
