New Classic India option from TransIndus


TransIndus has introduced a new 15-day Classic India escorted trip, which is designed for first time visitors and discovers India?s Golden Triangle and Varanasi, as well as the highlights of Rajasthan.
Guests begin with two nights in Delhi to discover the main sights of the city. The next stop is Varanasi, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world and, for Hindus, one of the holiest places in India. Here guests visit Sarnath, the site of Buddha's first public discourse and now home to many stupas and monasteries.
Other highlights include a boat ride on the Ganges to see devotees at prayer and a visit to the temple complex at Khajuraho before visiting Agra to take in the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. In Jaipur, guests can take an elephant ride to the hilltop fort of Amber, and in Jodhpur they will visit the Meherangahr Fort. The final destination is Udaipur, where a city tour is included.
Prices start from ?2,295 per person, including 13 nights? breakfast accommodation, flights, all internal travel and scheduled sightseeing.
