Cosmos has launched its second edition Lapland brochure for December with a 33% increase in capacity year-on-year, three additional two-night trips and extra day trips.

Early booking offers for holidays made before September 30 include a deposit of £50 per person, low child prices and the first child stays and eats for free at the Hotel Yllasrinne – offering savings of up to £86 per child.


Family deals include single parent family offers available at selected hotels on selected departures and third and fourth adult reductions at selected hotels. One-day trips lead-in at £515 per adult and £415 per child and five-night Christmas and New Year trips start from £995 per adult and £715 per child. All durational trips include flights from Gatwick, Manchester or Birmingham, four-star hotel accommodation plus a Christmas gala feast, ski suits and boots, private meeting with Santa with gift and trip to his post office (excluding New Year trips), toboggan, reindeer, husky dog and snowmobile rides, transfers and luggage allowance of 20kilos plus inflight meals.

Meanwhile, the operator has launched its first dedicated Goa and the Indian Ocean brochure November 2011 to October 2012 featuring a range of resort stays, tour and stay, two centres and cruises in Goa, the Maldives, Dubai, Mauritius and Sri Lanka. Capacity to Goa over the winter period has been doubled from both Gatwick and Manchester and two weeks for the price of one is offered on selected holidays in November and December.

The new brochure offers a total of 14 new properties in Goa as well as the new resorts of Bambolim in central Goa and Vagator in north Goa and two new tours of the destination. Two new elite five-star properties have been added to the Maldives programme and a new four-diamond rated all-inclusive property is offered in Mauritius. Early booking offers include savings of up to £1,000 per couple on holidays to the Maldives and two weeks for the price of one at a choice of hotels in Goa. A selection of charter and scheduled flights are available from six UK airports and upgraded Monarch Premium flights are available from Gatwick and Manchester to Goa from an additional £249 per person.

Prices lead-in at £499 in Goa based on seven nights' breakfast stay at the two-diamond Beira Mar on Baga Beach.
