Balkan Holidays is featuring three new four-star hotels in Kranjska Gora as part of its new seven-night walking holidays packages this summer.
Featured in the operator’s new Discovery brochure programme, the hotels include the chalet style Hotel Lek, the Ramada Resort and sister hotel Ramada Hotels & Suites Kranjska Gora. Each offers views of the Julian Alps and half-board accommodation with leisure facilities including heated indoor pools, saunas and wellness rooms for massage treatments.
Holidaymakers visiting Kranjska Gora can opt for guided walks until the end of September, including those to Lake Jasna for views of the Prisank and Razor peaks, or the scenic route to the neighbouring village of Gozd Martuljek, leading to a gorge at the River Sava for viewing peaks and waterfalls. There are also trails through the Tamar and Planica Valleys plus the opportunity to visit the Vrisic mountain pass by coach, followed by a hike up to Mojstrovka Peak.
As well as choosing seven nights in Kranjska Gora, holidaymakers can opt for twin-centre holidays, combining a week's walking with a stay in Lake Bled or Lake Bohinj. Alternatively, clients can opt for a coastal break in Portoroz. The operator has flights with scheduled carriers from Gatwick, Luton, Manchester and Stansted to Ljubljana on selected dates until October.
A seven-night break at the four-star Ramada Resort costs from £538 per person based on two sharing a twin room on half-board, including flights from Gatwick and transfers. Walks are available on selected dates until September for an additional fee.
