CroisiEurope has announced details of a new ship, the 84-guest MS Lafayette, which joins the fleet this month and operates on the Rhine between Amsterdam and Basel.
Each of the ship’s 43 cabins – including four single cabins and one for guests with disabilities - is 15m² and features either floor to ceiling or large picture windows, an en-suite bathroom, a flat screen TV, hairdryer, safe, radio and individually controlled air-conditioning and heating.
Guests can socialise in the stylish lounge bar or relax on the sun deck, while a spacious restaurant serves buffet breakfast as well as three-course lunches and dinners with a variety of French and regional dishes that complement the region in which the ship travels.
Guests are welcome to complimentary beer and wine at lunch and dinner as well as an open bar throughout the voyage, excluding Champagne, special wines or fine brandies. Operating between April and October, there will be 11 departures from Amsterdam to Basel and 12 departures from Basel to Amsterdam.
Prices start from €1,393 per person (approximately £1,174 per person) including accommodation in an outside cabin with all onboard meals, complimentary beer and wine at lunch and dinner, an open bar, onboard entertainment and port taxes.
