Montr?al to gain new UK flight routes from May

Three airlines will be launching new routes from the UK to Montr?al from next month.

Air Transat is launching a Glasgow to Montr?al route on May 30, opening up the entire Qu?bec region for Scottish travellers. Flights will depart every Monday with prices starting from ?385 return per person.

WOW air will be flying to Montr?al via Reykjavik from three UK airports - with Gatwick flights launching on May 4, Bristol on May 12 and Edinburgh on July 13, with fares leading in at ?99 one-way. Services to Montreal International Airport will operate four days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using new A321 aircraft, and flights between Iceland and Montreal take about five hours.

Meanwhile, Iceland?s main airline, Icelandair, has announced new routes from the UK to Montr?al via Reykjavik from May 19 four times weekly until November 2016, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Prices start from ?380 return from five UK airports - Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen - and from ?397 return from Heathrow. The carrier also allows passengers to take an Icelandair Stopover for up to seven nights at no additional airfare.
