Monarch has announced that it will be starting scheduled flights to Kittila, the home of Santa Claus, from December 2.
To complement the new scheduled route, the airline group will also be offering a greatly expanded holiday programme with the full Santa experience, plus the opportunity to see the ‘other side’ of Finland with an Arctic experience to the new resort of Yllas.
Flights and holidays start on December 2 from Gatwick and Manchester with the last flights departing Manchester on January 3 and Gatwick on February 14.
As well as featuring the resort of Olos and the family-friendly active resort of Levi Fell, there is also the chance for guests to experience a New Year Action Adventure and, for the first time this year, a three- or four-night ‘Arctic Experience’ trip to the resort of Yllas.
Customers can choose from a variety of accommodation with prices from £479 per adult and £369 per child to include flights and three nights’ breakfast accommodation.
For a special treat, there is a four-night trip over Christmas offering a traditional celebration for the whole family with a host of activities and events plus a private meeting with Santa on Christmas day. The trip departs on December 23 and prices start at £999 per adult and £825 per child on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
For older children, a four-night New Year Action Adventure break is available, departing on December 30 from Gatwick and Manchester. Prices start at £1,135 per adult and £825 per child based on full board accommodation.
New for this year is the ‘Arctic Experience’ in Levi Fell or the new resort of Yllas, with prices from £495 per adult and £399 per child for a three-night trip.
