Monarch is launching new scheduled flights to Egypt’s Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh from November 3.

The flights, which cost from £173.99 return including all taxes and charges, will operate three times weekly from Gatwick and Manchester airports on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and are available to book online now.

Commenting on the launch of the new flights the carrier's managing director, Kevin George, said: “We are delighted to be launching new scheduled flights to Sharm el Sheikh this winter, which follows hot on the heels of our announcement last month to launch flights to the resort for summer 2012. This now means that from November we will have year-round scheduled flights to the Red Sea resort and further supports our shift to focusing on scheduled flying." The airline's scheduled flights are available to book until October next year and customers booking flights will benefit from zero debit card charge fees and a fixed fee for all credit card bookings, regardless of the transaction value or number of people travelling.
