Mistral Holidays has expanded its brochure of flight-inclusive festive holidays, which this year sees the introduction of Italy and Austria to accompany its established programme to Spain.

A range of Christmas and New Year breaks are offered, with durations of between six and 15 days, departures from 19 regional airports, named three- and four-star accommodation and the services of a representative. In Spain destinations include the Costa Brava, Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol, with two hotels in each region offering holidays either on full-board or all-inclusive basis. Durations are seven nights starting from December 22 and 29 or 14 nights from December 22.The lead-in price for Spain is ?569 per person based on twin share for seven nights? full-board. It includes Gala festive meals at the three-star Hotel Bali in Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol with flights from Gatwick, Luton, Liverpool, Belfast and Bristol and transfers. The new Italy programme consists of two holiday choices ? a two-centre ?Christmas in Rome and Sorrento? or Christmas and/or New Year at Lake Garda. The twin-centre holiday leads in at ?749 per person for seven nights? half-board accommodation. It includes Christmas dinner, transfers and flights from Gatwick, Stansted or Bristol, plus a sightseeing tour of Rome and a walking tour of Sorrento. In Austria a seven-night, half-board Christmas stay at the three-star Hotel Gasthof Walzl in the village of Lans costs from ?749 per person with flights .
It departs on December 22 from East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester and Stansted and on December 23 from Liverpool and includes transfers, Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day dinner with music and dancing, plus an optional guided walk by candlelight with mulled wine.
