Mark Warner encourages skiers to go off-piste

Mark Warner will again be running ?Off-Piste? sessions with Henry?s Avalanche Talks (HAT) this winter.

With sessions taking place in Val d?Isere on January 21 and in Tignes on February 25, the course is designed to encourage intermediate skiers to try something new, as Henry Schniewind and his team teach them how they can go beyond the piste, have fun and stay safe.

If guests can ski a red and black run, perform link turns and are looking to take their skiing to the next level with added adventure, this course will suit them.

Guests will learn to ski off-piste, how to test good snow conditions, how to use transceivers and also what triggers an avalanche. The three-day course involves online training videos in advance, two mornings teaching off-piste, one big off-piste tour, one afternoon of transceiver training, one evening talk session and an informal lunch and dinner session to consolidate lessons learned.

Both the operator and HAT will help guests on the course hire the correct equipment once in resort so that they are prepped for the week ahead.

The tour operator is the only one that runs the Off-Piste weeks alongside its regular ski holiday packages, meaning it?s a good way for agents to attract new customers or offer their current ski customers something new.
