Macdonald Hotels announce new Wellness Rooms for 2015

Macdonald Hotels has announced the arrival of dedicated Wellness Rooms at three of their Spa Hotels.

Macdonald Portal Hotel in Chester, Macdonald Alveston Manor in Stratford-upon-Avon and Macdonald Craxton Wood in Cheshire are the first hotels to be able to provide this new wellbeing facility, with the intention to expand the offering across other hotels throughout 2015.

The new Wellness Rooms are a designated space for one-to-one wellbeing expert consultations, covering everything from dietary advice and fitness assessments through to physiotherapy and complementary therapies.

?The Macdonald Hotel Group appreciate how important wellness is to our guests and we want everyone ? our hotel guests, our Vital Health Club members and our day spa visitors - to have the opportunity to get expert professional wellbeing advice,? said Jeanette Jones, Macdonald Hotels Managing Director, Leisure & Spa.

?With the introduction of our new Wellness Rooms, we hope we can play a part in helping the nation take control of their own health and boost their wellbeing.?

In order to help each member improve their overall wellbeing, the Macdonald Hotel's Vital Health Clubs are offering free Health Checks as part of their health club membership. The Vital Health Check includes an analysis of blood pressure, resting heart rate, body mass index (BMI), body composition (Fat), peak flow lung function, flexibility and aerobic fitness.

Members can also have a FITECH health and fitness assessment.
