Claiming to totally change the way people will travel and use information when travelling, the app ? which travel firms can offer their customers free of charge ? was developed by Tony Bean of Appex Mobile.
Bean said: ?The reaction from the tour operators and travel agents who have seen Vamoos demonstrated has been extremely encouraging; in fact a number of travel firms including Experience Travel, Fleewinter, Original Travel, In-The-Saddle and travel agent Robert Broad Travel are already providing the app to their customers.

?The design of the app is totally flexible; tour operators can tailor it to their own holiday area, choose their own imagery and use their own documents. Their customers can rest assured that they have every ?piece of paper? required for their holiday neatly stored in one place for quick and easy access; it even has a holiday countdown to increase anticipation and excitement as the departure date grows ever nearer.
?It?s not only clever and functional, it prevents the need to print out reams of paper, so it?s even good for the planet ? all the customer needs to remember other than their tablet or mobile phone is their passport.?

The cost of the product ? which was specifically designed for smaller companies who don?t have the resources or budgets to design their own - will average around ?1 per passenger, per year for the operators and travel agents that sign up to the subscription service.
