Situated in South Africa’s malaria-free Eastern Cape, Kwandwe Private Game Reserve has introduced a series of new activities to enhance the safari experience for younger guests to overcome the usual age restrictions imposed on game drives; treasure hunts; finger painting; complimentary childminding and a new family room policy.

The Hooves & Stripes Wildlife Drives take children aged five and under out to spot non dangerous animals such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, tortoises and warthogs at a safe distance so they can learn about the bush and its residents.

Prices start from approximately £340 per person, per night, based on two sharing on a full-board basis, including all drinks and safari activities. Children under six that are sharing with their parents stay free and  children aged six-16 pay half price.
