KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers will be able to experience a new European Business Class from March 27 when the product replaces the airline's Europe Select Class.

The new class provides business travellers to European destinations with enhanced seat comfort and one-and-a-half-times more space, an improved catering service, and priority service on departure and arrival.

The airline's executive vice president, Erik Varwijk, said: “Extensive research among our business class passengers revealed a clear need for a better, more comfortable service to enable passengers to work or relax on board. We are delighted to be able to meet our customers’ needs by offering in Europe Business Class a vastly improved, new, and comfortable product.”

The airline also has plans to equip every Business Class seat in the 737 fleet with a socket to charge electrical appliances.
