300 children converged at Westfield London today as KidZania opened its doors for the first time.

The first experience of its kind in the UK, the child-sized city is set to change the way children enjoy education and entertainment.

Designed to empower children aged four-14 it offers them the opportunity to learn over 60 unique and exciting professions, giving them the confidence to challenge themselves and inspire them to explore the world of opportunities.

Each unique role-play, from surgeons to fashion stylist, is crafted to ensure they learn essential life-skills including financial literacy, team work and independence.

Joel Cadbury, London Chairman for the brand said: “Throughout its development we have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure the city is as authentic and true to the real-world as possible, working with an incredible group of Industry Partners and talented content creators to build a City that we truly believe will alter the way the UK views education and entertainment, opening the eyes of future generations to a myriad of possibilities they may have otherwise never known existed.”

The experience forecasts to welcome 750,000 in its first year with ticket prices starting at £8.65 per child, for eligible schools and group parties, through to £29.50 for on the day ticket sales and £8.25 through to £18.00 for accompanying adults.
