Iron Maiden frontman to address Advantage Conference 2012

Rock legend and businessman Bruce Dickinson will speak at the Advantage Conference in what will be his first address to a UK travel audience.?

Drawing on his experience as lead singer of Iron Maiden, a commercial airline pilot and past marketing director at Astraeus Airlines, Dickinson will talk about change management and the need to be agile and flexible in business.

He has also obtained government funding to establish an aircraft maintenance company creating 1500 jobs in Wales and he is involved in an airship venture to manufacture drones which have both a military and a commercial application.

In his presentation, Bruce will provide an insight into how to thrive in the ultimate change management environment: one day selling out 50,000 seater arenas, the next day negotiating complex leasing agreements with aircraft providers; the need to be agile and flexible in business planning with an ability to seize an unexpected opportunity; the ups and downs of business and the sometimes hard lessons that have to be learnt; and offer a glimpse into the potential future of air travel and the opportunities it may present the travel industry.

The Advantage Conference takes place from April 26 to 29, 2012 in Malta.
