Introducing the new stars of Iberostar

IBEROSTAR Hotels and Resorts is set to expand its portfolio with three new European hotels opening next year, along with three refurbishments in a bid to attract new customers and retain loyal guests keen to explore other destinations within the brand.

Opening around July next year will be the first Grand Collection Hotel in Mallorca, the Grand Hotel Portals Nous, a five-star 63-room boutique property designed by interior designer Marcel Wanders that focuses on high end consumers. Guests will be able to enjoy a ?biospa?, complete with a Turkish bath and sauna, plus a sustainable luxury wellness centre.

Located between the resorts of Marbella and Estepona will be the brand?s four-star Costa del Sol. Offering a beachfront location, the hotel will place a strong focus on family holidays, complete with an extensive sports and entertainment programme and is set to open in March next year.

The opening of Santa Eulalia Ibiza will be its first on the island for the company, and the four-star seafront property will be strictly adult-only. Located in the north-east, 18km from Ibiza Town, capital of the island and site of the Dalt Vila historic quarter and World Heritage Site, the hotel will offer 196 rooms and is expected to open in May 2016.

Meanwhile, refurbishments and star upgrades will take place on the chain?s Lanzarote Park on the Canary Islands, Andaluc?a Playa in Cadiz and Playa de Palma in Mallorca.

From this winter, free Wi-Fi will be on offer to all clients staying at its Spanish resorts, which will then expand to all hotels throughout Europe from next summer.
