Inghams has launched a brochure dedicated to snow adventures in Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway offering guests new winter experiences.

For agents, the holidays appeal to a wider range of guests than the ski holidays which focus on a more niche market.

The new brochure partly comes as a response to increased interest in the Northern Lights – “a staple of many people’s travel bucket-lists” according to the company’s CEO, Andy Perrin – as well as the growing trend for enjoying new and thrilling experiences whilst on holiday.

The brochure also highlights the company’s ‘Top Ten Snow Adventures’ in two regions of northern Scandinavia. Perrin said: “This is the first time we have highlighted all the other inspiring adventures and experiences that you can enjoy north of the Arctic Circle. The dedicated new brochure and website aim to shine a well deserved spotlight on these increasingly popular ‘snow holidays for non-skiers’.”

As an example of prices, a seven-night self-catering stay at the new four-star Kelotähti Apartments in Saariselkä leads in at £499 per person based on four sharing, or £555 with two sharing for a January 17 departure from Manchester.

The brochure also introduces two new Explorer Tours in Northern Norway, served by the operator’s new exclusive charter flights in March 2016 from Gatwick to Evenes. As an example, a three-night Polar Express Adventure, including direct non-stop flights from Gatwick to Evenes, transfers and four-star, half-board accommodation, plus all excursions and entrance fees, leads in at £799 per person.
