India proves popular for Wendy Wu during 70th anniversary year

Against the backdrop of Indias 70th anniversary of Independence, Wendy Wu Tours has confirmed that the country is becoming one of its fastest growing destinations for 2017.

The operator reports that departures to India this year are currently up 150% year-on-year and while its most popular trip remains the classic nine-day ?Golden Triangle tour?, visiting Delhi, the Taj Mahal and Jaipur, The BBC One reality show ?The Real Marigold Hotel? has contributed to a spike in demand over the past two months for Kerala. 

Demand for the operator?s ?Kerala and Southern Highlights? has increased 100% for bookings this year. The operator also seen a growth in the trend towards slightly longer tours.

We have certainly seen significant growth for India in the first two months of this year.
