Crystal is launching a new concept of summer ‘immersion holidays’ featured in its new 2011 summer brochure.  Designed to appeal to holidaymakers’ increasing demand for ‘experience holidays’, the brochure features holidays that make the best of the local terrain as well as cultural experiences.

Holidays are based around resorts and are designed to make use of all the surrounding activities and cultural attractions. More than 90 destinations are featured across 12 countries. As examples, a 14-night ‘rail & sail’ independent tour in Western Canada starts by taking the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Banff in Alberta, then travels by coach up to the Alaskan border via the Icefields Parkway. The final leg is a cruise to Vancouver Island through the straits and islands of the Inside Passage.    In Kitzbühel, Austria, holidaymakers can experience canoeing and white-water rafting, mountain biking, hiking in the tranquil Kitzbüheler Alps as well as visit cultural Salzburg for Mozart tours and concerts.

Prices lead in at £325 for seven nights’ breakfast accommodation at the three-star Poblado Apartments in Arinsal in the Andorran Pyrenees departing on May 21 and 25 from Gatwick and includes transfers.
