Hotelbeds will be hosting its 6th annual event for customers and suppliers in the Americas at Caesars Palace Las Vegas from May 12-15. 


Hosted in a different destination each year, the MarketHub has become a key global forum for the key industry players of the tourism arena in the Americas. 

The event is attended by more than 600 customers and suppliers from the main sectors of the American travel industry. Based on the theme 'Forward Thinking', MarketHub Americas will offer an interactive event where the latest tourism trends will be discussed. 

Meanwhile, the company has announced that it achieved more than 20% global sales growth last year, with €1.8 billion in sales.

Managing director of the company, Carlos Muñoz, said: "Maintaining this double digit growth rate will enable us to maintain and keep building our strong brand presence and market leading position. Last year, MEAPAC (Middle East and Asia Pacific) remained the fastest growing region for us as a destination and source market, with Thailand as the best-selling destination followed by Malaysia. 

"The UK is one of our most mature markets, with Spain, the US and Portugal the strongest destinations traditionally for British travellers. We are also experiencing an important increase of British passengers in Turkey, Thailand and Greece."

The company has also announced that it is planning an ambitious expansion plan over the next few years with significant increases in investment in IT, distribution and product contracting. At the same time, the bedbank will be concentrating on its expansion plans in the Americas source markets and the destinations of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and the US as well as in Asia.
