Cosmos Holidays has expanded its range of destinations to include Gibraltar featuring the new luxury floating hotel Sunborn Gibraltar set in the Ocean Village Marina against the backdrop of the iconic Gibraltar Rock.

With a fully flexible flying programme, the destination will be featured in the summer 2014 and winter 2014/15 brochures. Up to six flights are available from Luton, up to four flights from Manchester and up to three flights from Birmingham on a weekly basis.

Customers can select the duration that suits them best either as a package or flight-only through sister company Avro.

To meet demand for city breaks and longer duration beach stays, deluxe properties on offer as well as the Sunborn Gibraltar include the four diamond rated Rock Hotel and the O’Callaghan Eliott.

Opened last month, the Sunborn Gibraltar is a luxury floating hotel featuring 189 guests rooms and suites, 90% of which offer outdoor terraces or balconies and full-height wall windows to capture the Mediterranean views. The hotel features a spa and fitness centre, cocktail lounges, fine dining restaurants and a top floor sky restaurant with retractable roof and panoramic views.

Gibraltar is in addition to the existing choice of short breaks available within the operator's mainstream programme including Barcelona, Malaga, Mallorca, Dubrovnik, Palma, Venice, Verona, Rome, Algarve, Ibiza, Madeira and Marrakech.

A three-night stay at the four diamond rated Rock Gibraltar Hotel departing Luton on October 22 costs from £375 per person based on a twin sea view room. It includes flights and breakfast accommodation.  A three-night stay at the five diamond rated Sunborn Gibraltar departing Luton on October 3 costs from £559 based on a twin room and includes flights and breakfast accommodation.
