Germanwings has launched a new route from Dusseldorf to London Stansted Airport.

Heinz Joachim Schöttes, senior vice president corporate communications for Germanwings, said: “It’s great to be able to launch this new connection from Dusseldorf to London Stansted. Dusseldorf is an incredible mix of Rhineland charm, history, arts, and culture, and we’re pleased to be able to make this area more accessible for UK businesses and tourists.”

Stansted is connected by train to Liverpool Street Station in London and has transport links to the South East of England.

Germanwings is operating the new route as twice-daily: morning and evening flights on weekdays; one flight on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tickets for the new Stansted connection are now available at www.germanwings.com.
