Funway Holidays reports that it has seen sales to Mexico soar since the launch of its standalone brochure in April 2011.
The company’s managing director, Stephen Rhodes, said: “Forward bookings for 2012 are up by 200% for Cancun. It is hoped this new campaign and dedicated brochure in conjunction with the Cancun Tourist Board will drive sales even further and with two quality airlines servicing the route, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, it means a quality flying experience is offered at a competitive price.”
The operator has launched a 16-page tactical ‘Discover Cancun 2012/13’ brochure, working in conjunction with British Airways.
Rhodes said: “Our new brochure is full of interesting concepts to drive the customer to book.  We focus on the six great themes of Cancun including Mayan culture, dining and entertainment, watersports, shopping, golf and spa with recommended hotels to suit every style and pocket.”

Lead-in prices start from £725 per person for five nights staying at the all-inclusive three-star Flamingo Cancun Resort and Plaza including flights with BA, based on a September 6 departure.
