Funway Holidays has launched its ‘California Dreaming’ campaign for this month and next, with the aim of boosting sales to the destination during the traditional shoulder season.

The company's USA product manager, Casey Hurford, said: “We remain committed to providing the best possible value and choice for our customers and it is hoped the campaign will also highlight our continued value for money - from free breakfasts, free nights to guaranteed room upgrades and special rate reductions.”

The operator has put together a selection of new packages showcasing both old-favorites and new attractions in the destination, including Blue Whale Watching tours, where guests can see the whales migrate into Orange County waters during summer. A five-night stay offer at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach includes one night free and flights with BA and leads in at £749 per person, based on a May 24 departure.
Another special offer applies to guests visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, where the new attraction, Transformers: The Ride 3D, opens on May 25. Visitors can stay for five nights at Beverly Garland’s Holiday Inn Universal Studios from £819 per person, including flights with United Airlines, based on a June 14 departure.

Meanwhile, SeaWorld San Diego opens its new roller coaster ‘Manta’ on May 26 and the company is offering seven nights at Bahia Resort Hotel including a Southern California two-park Flex Ticket (to access to Universal and Seaworld) and flights with United Airlines. Prices lead in at £899 per person, based on a June 14 departure and includes a special rate reduction.
