Planned fundraising efforts include a day of themed ‘red’ and ‘nose’ activities on March 13 to raise funds for Red Nose Day.
The Funway team will also be getting involved with a Fancy Dress Code Day on March 6 for ABTA LifeLine. The strict dress code is ‘all things American’ and will involve staff members dressing as their favourite American icon or object for the day – whether that means a Cowboy, Elvis or a Pretzel!
On the day, members of staff will be asked to donate to charity in return for wearing American themed fancy dress and there will be a fashion show in the office to judge the best dressed. American snacks will also be on offer to staff. The fundraising will continue when the Funway sales team hit the streets in their fancy dress. They will be visiting agencies around the UK, inviting agents to pose for a picture with the ‘icons’ in exchange for a donation to the charity.
Marketing Executive for Funway Holidays, Rebecca Evans says the operator plans to do more fundraising this year, “We understand the importance of fundraising and we want to get more involved with easy and fun ways of raising money for charity”.
