The new 2012 brochure features a selection of holidays including coastal, mountain and river valley routes, with six new cycling programmes in France.
These include La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré - a twin-centre holiday in the popular Charente Maritime; Bordeaux Vineyards - The Medoc route through vineyards with sampling opportunities; Bordeaux to Arcachon – Vineyards to the Sea; Highlights of North Burgundy - a scenic, circular tour from the cathedral city of Auxerre; Burgundy Waterways - a journey of river and canalside cycling; and Burgundy Wine Lands - a tour through south Burgundy’s wine heart land – Beaune, Nuits-Saint-Georges.
The types of cycling holiday vary and can be hosted, supported, self-guided, a guided group, or ‘Boat & Bike’, where guests stay on a river barge in a group of 15-25 people with all meals prepared by a chef.
Depending on preference and experience, holidaymakers can select from family-friendly holidays, leisurely holidays with an emphasis on culture, coastal cycling with beaches and views, or countryside cycling.
As an example of prices, a four-night break in the Loire Valley costs £399 for adults and £329 for children under 13.
