Travel Indochina has announced the launch of a new family tour in its latest Small Group Journeys brochure: Cambodia Kings, Temples and Elephants.

To celebrate the company is offering a free child place when a family of four book any family tour this month for departures in January, February or March 2010.

The ten-day escorted tour starts in Phnom Penh and includes a city tour by cyclo, a traditional shadow puppet show, speed boat ride to the temple of Phnom Da, a visit to Tamao Wildlife Centre, a stay on the beaches of Cambodia’s south coast, an elephant ride around Bayon Temple and a balloon ride over the Angkor complex.

Meanwhile, the operator's Pappadoms and Palaces ten-day tour has been revamped to end with a stay at Samode in a tented camp plus a village jeep safari with an opportunity to play cricket with the locals.

It also includes an ‘elephant walk’ through local villages and farms to visit a village school.
