Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is offering cruise guests four completely unique ‘experiential’ cruises this autumn.
Guests can choose from a five-night comedy extravaganza on Braemar’s ‘Sea is for Comedy’ cruise; an 11-night around the UK ‘Myths and Legends’ sailing on Boudicca; an opportunity to ‘tell the Captain where to go’ on Braemar’s ‘You Choose Your Cruise’ sailing; or a 13-night ‘Agatha Christie Cruise’, which celebrates the 125th anniversary of the legendary author.
The line's sales and marketing director, Nathan Philpot, said: “These four cruises, setting sail in October and November, showcase our commitment to giving guests a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experience. They are the perfect opportunity to escape daily routines and try something completely new.”
As an example of prices, the 11-night ‘Myths & Legends’ cruise, departing from Newcastle on October 6, costs from £799 per person. Arriving first in Portsmouth, guests can take a tour to explore Stonehenge, followed by a visit to Falmouth to take in Tintagel Castle. The itinerary then journeys to Cobh in Ireland, followed by Dublin, Belfast, Invergordon in Scotland to learn about the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster and Edinburgh. Throughout the cruise, talks are offered by Dr. Patrick McCafferty, a guest speaker on Irish Mythology.
