Fleewinter has introduced a new ten-night itinerary called Walking the Cape, which combines a stay in Cape Town with five days’ guided walking, including a hike to the highest point of Table Mountain reachable on foot.

The first four days are spent at leisure in Cape Town, staying at ‘Casa’, a luxury apartment in Camps Bay. During the hiking part of the holiday, accommodation is in tented camps (permanent tents supported by solid structures) and lodges.

At the end of the five walking days, two nights will be spent in Franschhoek to discover the local restaurants for which the area is renowned.

Prices lead in at £990 per person including transfers, four nights’ self-catering in Camps Bay, five guided hikes, four nights’ full-board accommodation on the hike, daily luggage transfer, entry to Cape Point and Silvermine Nature Reserves and two nights’ self-catering accommodation in Franschhoek.
