Travel 2 is highlighting escorted tours in Thailand and China.

A 14-night break to Thailand costs from £1,999 per person including flights, three nights at the four-star Century Park Hotel in Bangkok in a superior room, three nights at the five-star Anantara Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai in a three country view room on all-inclusive and eight nights in a suite at the four-star Kantary Beach Khao Lak on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The price also includes transfers and applies tro travel by October 31, 2014.

Meanwhile, to get the most out of a multi-centre escorted tour of China, the operator recommends visiting Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai.

The company's product manager for Australasia, South Pacific & North Asia, Heather Colbourn, said: "These four great centres are by far the most popular with our customers and looking to the future I believe that touring trends will stay more or less the same. The pull for most travellers to China are the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, the ancient culture, and the unique experiences that you get from visiting cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.”

An 11-day Essential China Tour leads in at £2,519 including flights with Qatar Airways for travel between May 1 and June 12, 2014.
