Hurtigruten has launched a stand-alone Explorer Voyages brochure for 2011/12 featuring cruises to Spitsbergen, Greenland, Antarctica and Europe.

Separated from the main Norway product for the first time since 2006, the move comes as the operator aims to provide agents with greater focus on its Explorer products. The 2011/12 programme features a range of new itineraries including two new Norway and Spitsbergen combination voyages, a new climate cruise from Iceland to Spitsbergen and a selection of European voyages including for the first time, new autumn options.

New itineraries include an 11-day Classic Norway and Spitsbergen, with prices from £2,814 per person; a five-day Polar Encounters from £1,803; a 13-day Polar Bears, Islands and Fjords from £2,876; an eight-day Climate Voyage that travels from Iceland to Spitsbergen from £1,866; a nine-day Highlights of the British Isles from £1,162; and a 15-day Western Europe & North Africa itinerary from £1,036, which departs Hamburg and takes in France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and ends in the Canary Islands.
