Explore launches new tours to Uzbekistan, China and Indonesia

Explore has launched three new Discovery tours to China, Indonesia and Uzbekistan, taking customers off the tourist trail to gain an authentic travel experience. A new Highlights of Uzbekistan option offers a seven-day tour to the Silk Road cities in Central Asia. This fast paced adventure takes customers on a journey to the walled city of Khiva, through the old caravan route to Bokhara and to the monuments in Registan Square in Samarkland. Customers will also learn about the colourful history of the Silk Road and explore the capital of Tashkent. Tours depart in September and October and costs from ?1,099 per person. The company's new Volcanoes, Dragons and Beaches is a 12-day tour to the islands of Bali, Flores and Komodo in Indonesia. It visits Ubud and its Balinese temples, Kelimutu, famous for its three colourful acid crater lakes and Komodo National Park to go in search for the infamous Komodo dragon. Customers will also spend a nigh on the waters of the Komodo archipelago as well as relax on the beaches of Sanur. Customers will welcome in the New Year at Dejilin Monastery while watching traditional dances and blessings.
