Exodus adds 11 new trips for 2011/12 including two ?Ski Racing? itineraries

Exodus has issued its new Winter Activities brochure for 2011/2012, featuring 68 pages of winter holiday ideas, from winter snowshoeing in Austria to commanding a team of Alaskan or Siberian Huskies in Slovakia.

The operator has added two new ?Ski Racing? itineraries, with prices from ?1,249 including flights. The Birkebeiner Ski Race and Konig Luwig Lauf, along with the Engadine Ski Marathon, will form part of the ?WorldLoppet? series - an international sports federation of cross-country skiing marathons - and cater for ski enthusiasts looking for a different type of challenge on their holiday.

A seven-night ?Finnish Dogsledding Adventure? has also been introduced for the first time, with prices from ?1,999 including flights and most meals. The trip aims to attract clients seeking softer adventure but who want to spend longer than a weekend in Finland.

Meanwhile, the company has added two more eight-day cross-country trips, one in Nordseter, Norway and one in Chamonix, France. A Snowshoeing in the Nevache Valley option leads-in at ?1,079 including flights and takes travellers to a largely undiscovered region in the Alps, across tough mountainous terrain and along high ridges.

Other additions include a six-day Birkebeiner Ski Marathon from ?1,449 including flights and most meals; an eight-day Czech Republic Winter Activity Week from ?849 including flights and most meals; and an eight-day Mount Etna Snowshoeing itinerary from ?649.
