Some 200 years after the first edition of Children's and Household Tales was published by the Brothers Grimm, a total of six more stories by the authors will be incorporated in Europa Park’s Enchanted Forest.
The kingdom between Sleeping Beauty Castle and Land of Cockaigne is being expanded from the start of the summer, with the area set to measure 3,000m².
New features will include the Gold Ass from The Wishing-Table; the Cudgel in the Sack, which spits out a stream of gold coins; a goat that talks when it is fed; Doctor Know-all (who will answer any question); a magical glockenspiel; and an enchanted tower.
Located near Germany’s borders with France and Switzerland, the theme park offers 13 European themed areas on one site, including the WODAN Timburcoaster wooden rollercoaster.
Other new features of the park include the Eden Palladium indoor carousel and the Magic Cinema 4D in the French themed area.
The park is open daily from 09:00-16:00 until November 3, with longer opening hours during the peak season.
