With less than one year to go until the start of Rugby World Cup 2015, England Rugby Travel, the Official Travel Agent of Rugby World Cup 2015 exclusively for Great Britain, has launched a programme to sell through travel agents for next year’s Tournament.
Interest in the rugby tournament, to be held in England for the first time since 1991, is already huge and the operator is offering the travel trade access to a range of official ticket-inclusive packages, including merchandise packs, access to special events and a range of accommodation for all 48 matches.
The company is also incentivising agents by offering a sliding scale of commission payments. In addition, the partnership will mean that agents will have the flexibility to book the packages they want for their clients.
Louise Lee heads up a select travel trade sales team for Rugby World Cup 2015 travel and ticket packages, including Emma Waterman, Jack Royle, Jessica Tea and Michelle Townsley, who will be managing the new incentive programme.
Rugby World Cup 2015 takes place over a six-week period from September 18 to October 31, 2015 and will see 20 teams go head to head in matches held in 13 locations across England and Cardiff.
As an example of prices, a one-night Opening Ceremony Weekend Break guarantees a place to experience the first weekend of the tournament, including the Opening Ceremony at Twickenham Stadium, before England play their first crucial pool game against Fiji. Prices lead in at £479 per person for a one-night breakfast stay, based on two sharing, including match tickets.
The full range of packages can be viewed at www.englandrugbytravel.com/rwc2015 and agents should contact Michelle Townsley on 0844-788 4084 or email email@example.com for further information and to request a full information pack.
