Eastern Airways introduces extra Norwegian services

UK regional airline Eastern Airways is to start additional flights to Stavanger from Aberdeen and Newcastle.

Additional flights between Aberdeen and Stavanger will be introduced from October 5, 2009, while Newcastle gains a new Sunday service to Stavanger from October11, 2009.

The enhanced services will be introduced at the same time as Eastern Airways? new flights from Aberdeen and Newcastle to Bergen.

New additional early morning flights from Stavanger to Aberdeen will operate between Monday and Thursday, leaving Stavanger at 7.30am and arriving in Aberdeen at 7.50am local time.

On Mondays to Wednesdays a new evening service will leave Aberdeen at 6.30pm, arriving in Stavanger at 8.50pm. These new services complement the existing weekday services to Stavanger from Aberdeen, which depart at 6.50am and 2.45pm Monday to Friday, arriving in Norway at 9am and 4.55pm local time.

Newcastle will benefit from an additional Sunday service, leaving Newcastle at 4pm, arriving in Stavanger at 6.50pm local time. The return flight departs Stavanger at 7.30pm and arrives in Newcastle (via Aberdeen) at 9.15pm.

The existing Monday to Friday weekday services to Stavanger from Newcastle departs at 10am, arriving in the Norwegian city at 12.50pm. The return flight leaves Stavanger at 1.20pm and arrives in Newcastle at 2.10pm local time.

?The additional morning and evening services between Aberdeen and Stavanger provides business travellers with an enhanced schedule and timings. The new Sunday Stavanger service from Newcastle provides greater flexibility for business travellers as they can reach the city in time for an early Monday morning start. Leisure travellers can now take advantage of short weekend breaks with the Sunday service.?
