Kuoni has launched a new brochure, Discover Latin America, featuring more hotels, destinations, experiences and product.
Detailed maps are included for all destinations and highlight the important places to visit and iconic sights such as Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail in Peru; the Iguacu Falls and Christ the Redeemer in Brazil and the Atacama Desert in Chile.
Guides are also provided for each destination with expert tips from the company's personal travel experts who have travelled around Latin America, as well as destination highlights, events & festivals, best time to go, essentials, what to do, where to eat and the best places for shopping.
New destinations have been added to Brazil including the capital city Brasilia; the city of Ouro Preto, a UNESCO World Heritage site; and the hidden town of Jericoacoara, Ceara on the Northern coast.
More hotels and cruises have been added in Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Ecuador, some of which include the Aria Amazon in Peru, a luxury cruise ship which embarks on three-day expeditions along the Amazon and Insolito Boutique Hotel in Bouzios, Brazil, a retreat nestled in tropical gardens and overlooking Ferradura Beach.
Also included is the Galapagos Safari Camp in the highlands of Santa Cruz at the edge of the Galapagos National Park. The Cavas Wine Lodge in Mendoza, Argentina is also new and offers organic produce accompanied by locally produced wine.
Meanwhile, the company has introduced a dedicated India and Sri Lanka brochure focusing on tailor-made itineraries and authentic experiences.
The range features traditional and cultural journeys offering a glimpse of everyday life and a flavour of two unique Indian Ocean destinations.
The company's product and commercial manager, Sarah Beckwith said: “Sri Lanka is our third bestselling destination for 2013 and is becoming best known for its excellent value car and driver option. An English-speaking guide and private car gives customers unlimited flexibility, invaluable local knowledge and a personal experience.
"Tailor-made Sri Lankan itineraries could include Udawalawe National Park with jeep safaris and a visit to the Born Free accredited Elephant Transit Home for orphaned elephants. A new experience, which can be added to any Sri Lankan holiday, is a visit to the ancient city of Kandy, with its treasure trove of sightseeing opportunities including the Royal Botanical Gardens and Temple of the Tooth.
"Sri Lanka’s beachfront retreats are also becoming increasingly popular, in particular the luxurious five-star Fortress Resort & Spa in Koggala which can be combined with the Nuwara Eliya tea plantations; blending beach with culture. In Northern India new flexible experiences have been added such as a three-night stay in Corbett National Park with jeep safaris, which can be booked from Delhi."
The Discover India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka brochure is valid for holidays from January 2014 to March 2015 and can be downloaded from www.kuoni.co.uk/brochures
