Selling River Cruises has launched a major campaign to grow its sales through travel agents with the aim of recruiting 100 new agents by the end of this year.

To spearhead the growth of agency sales business the company has launched a dedicated agents’ Website, where new agents can register and find out more about the company, its products and how to work with them. 


The campaign co-incides with the launch of that operator's largest collection, with more than 25 different itineraries on a choice of ten vessels spanning seven European countries in its 2011 brochure. Flexible travel options to join the river cruises are offered including a network of national departures by coach, as well as options by rail, air or joining at the UK ports of Dover or Hull.

The programme includes a range of itineraries - from three-night breaks to longer cruises of nine nights or more. The Rhine to Switzerland is one of the company’s most popular itineraries, along with the Moselle, Christmas Markets and Dutch Bulbfields cruises.

For 2011, these have been joined by Russian and French cruises and a meander along Portugal’s Douro which are all new additions to the new collection.
