The Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) is forecasting a rebound in visitor arrivals this year, with moderate growth of up to 3% expected for the region on the heels of positive indicators from the fourth quarter of 2009.

Cruise visitor arrivals to the region as a whole increased 1.4% after a three percent decline in 2008. This increase was associated with the marketing drives of cruise lines along with price specials.
