Crystal to launch new luxury air experiences and ships

Crystal Cruises has unveiled plans to follow a new luxury route with new ships that will establish three new classes of cruising and its own Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The first new luxury Crystal product begins with the launch of Crystal Esprit later this year.

It marks the debut of the line?s new all-inclusive Yacht Cruises programme, which will sail regional, warm-water itineraries of seven days. The first voyage sets sail on December 23 and will sail around the Seychelles.

For 2016 and 2017, and early 2018, routes include the Seychelles, voyages from Dubai and sailings along the Adriatic Coast. All-inclusive yacht fares start at $2,690 per person for a four-day, round-trip Mah?, Victoria, Seychelles itinerary in 2017.

In the spring of 2017, the cruise line will offer worldwide river cruising, while also in 2017, Crystal Launch Air takes to the skies, becoming the first in the luxury travel industry to offer around-the-world trips on the twin-aisle Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The aircraft will fly 60 guests in fully reclining business class seats to destinations to which major airlines do not offer nonstop service. Each itinerary will last 28 days and will visit ten to 12 remote and sought-after locales, with accommodation in luxury hotels and resorts.

Finally, three new polar ice class cruise ships are expected to be delivered in late 2018.
