Cosmos Holidays and Avro Flights have announced they will operate package holidays and flight-only options direct from Newcastle to Orlando, Florida next summer. The news comes in the same year that the operator has increased its summer flying programme by 35% and introduced a new winter programme with scheduled flying from the UK.

Cosmos has also announced it will operate flights from Cardiff Airport to Orlando Sanford for 14-night durations for next summer. The new regional flights are in addition to the existing summer schedule from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow.

Departures from Newcastle will able available from May 29 to August 28 with prices for 14-night packages starting from ?729 per person, based on six sharing a two-bedroom apartment on self-catering basis at the four diamond-rated Bahama Bay Resort and Spa in Kissimmee. Flight-only prices for 14 nights start from ?499 per person in Economy or from ?779 in Premium cabin.

Flights will operate to Orlando Sanford Airport on a Monarch A330 aircraft, departing from Newcastle on Tuesdays and returning early hours of Wednesday mornings.
