Charitable Travel partners with Malta Tourism Authority

New social enterprise travel agency Charitable Travel has launched a partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority.

The campaign aims to promote Malta as the ideal post-lockdown destination for British holidaymakers through a multi-channel campaign, with the message that travel is a force for good.

Charitable Travel is the first of its kind, social enterprise travel agency, providing travellers with the unique opportunity to donate 5% of the cost of their holiday to a charity of their choice through a partnership with JustGiving.

Attraction to the campaign are the suggested charities anyone booking a holiday to Malta can donate to, which align with the Malta Tourism Authority?s main messages. These charities include Reef World (reef-world.org) for their marine conservation efforts, Cats Protection (cats.org.uk) for their cat welfare endeavours, and the LGBT Foundation (lgbt.foundation) for their advice, support and information services to the LGBT community. Customers can donate to any charity of their choice.

Melissa Tilling of Charitable Travel, commented: ?Charitable Travel is delighted to have tailored an effective consumer campaign for Malta, across our channels, to build arrivals for this diverse and popular destination. The campaign focuses on some major themes and, through our unique social purpose and bookings, also fundraises for three great charities ? Reef World, the LGBT Foundation and Cats Protection. As a member of Worldchoice Plus, we have a great selection of Malta partners who deliver quality and competitive product for our valued customers.?

Natalie Swinburne, trade marketing manager of Malta Tourism Authority UK and Ireland, commented: ?We are really excited to be working with Charitable Travel, not only because of their thematic consumer marketing but also the support they can give charitable causes that particularly resonate with Malta from every booking.?
