Carrier reaffirms commitment to travel trade

In a bid to further commit to agents, and following the recent reveal of its planned office relocation, Carrier has announced that, as from December 4, the sales team based at the new head office in Didsbury will service trade enquiries only.

The change will allow for all areas of the business to have a single minded focus on the trade, with the operator able to commit even more to travel agents.

The well-established retail travel agency, Carrier Travel, based in Alderley Edge will be the sole location handling customer enquiries directly.

Speaking at the company?s annual Preferred Partner Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, managing director Mark Duguid, said: ?Since joining Carrier earlier this year, I?ve been amazed by the level of support from the trade. ?With more than 80% of our business generated by travel agents, they are the most valuable part of the business and we?re increasingly looking at ways we can improve our service to them.

?I?m proud of the long standing relationships with our travel trade partners and I?m confident that the renewed focus at head office will lead to even stronger partnerships.?
