Carrier issues luxury ski & snow brochure

Carrier has unveiled its latest brochure, Luxury Ski & Snow 2017/18, showcasing new additions and ski travel trends across Europe and North America.

In keeping with the trend for resorts suited to non-skiers, the company has revamped its Nordic Winter Experiences pages.

New accommodation in Finnish Lapland includes two chalets and the Arctic Tree House Hotel ? newly opened in December 2016. Featuring luxury pod-style rooms raised on stilts, the hotel is suited to couples and smaller families, an audience less well catered for in the past. Guests can enjoy a range of Arctic adventures such as dog sledding and snowmobiling, as well as private visits to Father Christmas.

Further to increased demand, Iceland has been re-introduced to the brochure. Hotel Grimsborgir is new to the portfolio offering an ideal countryside location near to the most famed attractions, including the Gullfoss Waterfall and Strokkur Geysir, as well as access to snowmobiling and glacier hiking.

Meanwhile, the operator?s Switzerland offering has been expanded with the introduction of Gstaad. An ideal option for short break skiing, spa and winter activities, the Alpina Gstaad offers Michelin-starred dining and a Six Senses Spa for indulgent romantic winter escapes.

Newly introduced with families in mind, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in the Austrian Tyrol offers one of the best children?s ski areas in the Alps. Ski-in, ski-out Schlosshotel Fiss welcomes families with a complimentary kids club and Splash Waterworld.

Park City in the US? Utah has also been introduced, with the addition of the Waldorf Astoria Park City, along with a selection of new hotels across the US and Europe.

The company?s product Manager, Liz Goodwin, said, ?The launch of our 2017/18 Luxury Ski & Snow programme to the trade has been timed to assist in securing the most sought-after properties and the very best early booking offers.

?Whistler has fantastic savings on bookings made by the end of August, chalets across Europe are already booking up for peak holiday weeks and Father Christmas is in high demand during December ? so now is the time to book.?

As an early booking offer, clients can save up to ?2,320 per couple at the Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler in Canada when they stay for seven nights. Prices lead in at ?1,940 per person - saving 40% - and include flights and private transfers, valid for travel between January 2 and February 15 and February 26 and April 7, 2018 when booked by August 31.
